There are four categories of Warehouse Centers viz. High rated, Middle rated, Special rated and General rated warehouse by considering the location of places etc. Normally storage charges are charged on per Bag/ Quintal/ M.T./ area basis/ per month basis. Storage charges include insurance charges also. Storage charges vary for different commodities. There are facilities for area basis storage charges also. Normally the storages charges are revised in every two years. The schedule of storage charges for different commodities is available at the Warehouse Centres and Head Office. There is a provision for leasing out godown with lock and keys also.
